Many people describe themselves by focusing on the careers they have had throughout their lives. Others choose to highlight their interests and accomplishments. I like to make things very personal and transparent.
This industry is very dear to my heart. I was injured while on active duty during military training that is called SERE. This is an intense training that teaches Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape tactics. I suffered a spinal injury that was not evident until years later. This injury has cause irreversible damage to my body which then forced me into physical therapy that was accompanied with many pain medications over a long-term period. There was a day that I realized that my body was shutting down and I needed to go against my doctors and focus on truly healing my body.
I spent many years as a Certified Surgical Assistant where my focus was orthopedic trauma surgery. Through this very rewarding career, I gained a knowledge of the human body that still benefits me today. With that knowledge, I was able to conclude that medications were not the answer for me and typically not the answer for many others. Some time later, I chose to enter into the cannabis industry and grow my own medication.
During my time as a grower, I built an amazing network with many amazing people and companies. I also realized very quickly that there are many in this industry that are simply out to make a quick buck and “get rich quick” and that they would do it at all costs. With the training I received in the military, I was able to easily spot these types of people and companies as well as vet others that have great hearts.
God has given me a gift of life as well as many personal gifts that have allowed me to get to where I am today. That is not to mean that my life was easy. It was definitely a learning experience; mostly learning about who I am as an individual. I realized that my true passion in life is serving others in every possible way.
I chose to use my gifts and the training I have received over these past years and build a company that truly works to serve others and help change lives. Transparency, honesty, and integrity are everything. When you wrap those traits with faith, the sky is the limit. I am very blessed to have crossed paths with the people I work closely with today.
I founded GHS Industries to help provide the missing link in this industry. GHS has many partners that we value and those partnerships are what set us apart from others. We work with many of the top leaders in this industry as well as having partnership agreements with some of the best international manufacturers of equipment in the world.
This is all just some basic information about me as a person; a glimpse into my heart so that you may have an understanding as to what makes me “tick.” In all honesty, it is irrelevant. What truly matters is the bigger picture. I am just one man. We are just one company. This leads me to our company motto; the phrase that really means everything to me:
IT’S NOT ABOUT US. IT’S ABOUT THE BIGGER PICTURE.
That phrase says it all. We are not the focus. We are merely a part of the bigger picture.

With over 15 years of experience in the customer service industry, and 8 of those years centered on a degree in Business Management & Marketing, I found myself wondering where corporations collectively miss the mark in quality leadership management. The answer became quite simple: Treat your employees with the same integrity and value you place on your clients! In addition, we must be willing to duplicate ourselves through training and trust, so that progression flourishes within our company long after we are gone or pursuing other paths.
As a blessed mom of 3, management comes naturally! While I have taken a few years off in the past to focus on first stages of motherhood, I never stopped helping others develop and grow where they are planted, often offering counseling and advise to those who had been previous co-workers or managers. I believe my skills can be applied at home and from a desk simultaneously, but we see few resources in the workplace that encourage parents to balance both! I aim to change that over time.
When the opportunity presented itself to align my core values with GHS Industries, I had no idea just how valuable it would become! I have found a career that allows me to balance ministry, work, and family so that I can deliver realistic expectations to our clients and the GHS Team! We are all part of a bigger picture, and working together with a sense of family is what get’s the job done! I work hard to provide solutions in the office by cultivating resources that provide clear and direct communication, face-to-face client services, and assisting with production timelines.
In addition to assisting our CEO with various administrative tasks, I have the pleasure of streamlining client connections through direct approach marketing and customer service. In other words, if you are a client reaching out to GHS Industries, whether it’s on social media or through our website contact form, you will receive a direct response from me that answers your questions and concerns, putting your industry needs as top priority!

There’s a sweet spot where what you enjoy aligns with your natural strengths and skillset. Finding that sweet spot is the key to having a happy career. I finally found my sweet spot a few years ago when I realized I could actually make a living as a writer.
By combining my love for business with my love for writing, I became a freelance blogger and editor. I dived into the world of SEO, helping companies strengthen their online presence with written content. Writing content grew into managing content, which grew into managing brands.
When GHS Industries found me, it was initially to help build content on their website and blog. It was a standard freelance gig to deliver regular content. But then I got to know the company. I got to know the team. And I got excited.
I got excited about what GHS is doing and, more importantly, I got excited by how they are doing it. I was impressed by how a big company with huge growth potential could focus more on the bigger picture than their individual success. From day one, it was clear they want to succeed with others, not because of others.
When asked to join the team, I jumped at the opportunity. I hung up my freelancer hat and proudly put on the GHS badge. Now, it’s my job to help spread the word about this amazing company and the innovative solutions they offer. I also highlight our partners, who are essential to the industry’s growth and overall success. It’s a sweet spot to be in.
